Our Journey
Starting in the early 1990s in Hunmanby, Yorkshire, Country Carpets and Beds began with a simple yet powerful vision: to turn houses into homes with high-quality, comfortable, and stylish beds and flooring.
What started as a small venture selling carpet remnants has evolved into a trusted name across the Yorkshire coast, expanding to include a second showroom in Pickering through our partnership with master fitter Darren Allenson.
Over the years, we have grown from a single location to serving customers across East and North Yorkshire, but our core values of quality, trust, innovation, and community remain unchanged. We take pride in being a local business that contributes to making our community a better place to live, now reaching even more families with our expanded presence.
